new logo/seal for KCOB…

A professor from the KCOB came to me last week and wanted a new design of their seal. Their old one is really detailed and has to be quite large to reproduce well. This was a rare occasion for a designer to fall into… the client actually wanted exactly what I thought the seal always needed. The professor asked me to simplify the design and use a modern look with a sans serif font. I was really excited to hear this, and therefore I was anxious to work on it. I made 2 versions for them to see… this usually doesn’t work out very well.. the client will usually ask for some kind of mixing of the 2 designs. I couldn’t make up my mind which design I liked better.. both will work well for them and accomplish exactly what the need.
